Parking

Introduction / Parking

The blue zone

The blue zone is marked with a blue stripe on Prague roads and is intended for so-called resident parking. Only people with a valid parking permit can park here without restrictions. Other motorists can park in the blue zone for a limited period of time only after paying the parking fee via the Virtual Parking Hours web application (mpla.cz/praha).

The orange zone

The orange zone, which is marked with an orange stripe on the vertical road markings and supplemented with white horizontal markings, is intended for short-term parking for visitors.  Parking here is time-limited. Payment can be made at a parking meter or via the web application Virtual Parking Hours (mpla.cz/praha).

MR.PARKIT

You can also rent a garage through the MR.PARKIT app. Here you can find a parking space even before you get in your car and then open the garage itself in the app or have it opened by the receptionist. In case of any problems, telephone and online support is available.

Garage Museum

Parking Centrum is one of the largest car parks in Prague. It is directly integrated into the city’s transport solution, including an information and guidance system. It is located about 100 m from Wenceslas Square and the entrance to the car park is directly from the main road from U Divadla street. Parking Centrum is designed for both short-term and long-term parking.

Parkingcard

Short-term parking for up to 24 hours in the blue and purple zones of Prague 1-8 is no problem with parkingcard.cz. You can park in paid and residential zones in the district, just select one of the tariffs and register the car registration number.
